Not all meat is suitable for grilling either

Not all meat is suitable for grilling either

These are then absorbed by the body when consumed.

Another safe option is not to place the food directly over the embers, but rather to the side.

Do not place food to be grilled too early

For some people it takes too long for the coal to glow. But if you put the meat on the grill while the flame is still blazing, you risk charring the food. This not only tastes bad, but is also harmful to your health, because there are a lot of pollutants in the black crust. Not all meat is suitable for grilling either. Cured meat, for example, should not end up on the grill because it contains substances that can be converted into carcinogenic nitrosamines in high heat.

Better to do without alcohol

However, many mistakes happen when lighting the charcoal. The result is around 3,000 accidents caused by incorrect lighters or an unsafe location for the grill. To shorten the heating-up phase, impatient barbecues like to use denatured alcohol or gasoline and pour this onto the open fire. This can lead to explosive deflagrations, which in the worst case can cause severe burns.

A bucket of water, sand or a fire extinguisher should always be next to the grill in order to put out fires immediately, not just for such cases. Dripping fat can also ignite and cause flashes.

Help with burn injuries

If something goes wrong while grilling, it is important to act quickly. Burning clothing is suffocated by wrapping the victim in a blanket or rolling them on the floor and pouring water over them. Smaller burns are best held under lukewarm water to relieve the pain. A doctor should be consulted in the event of major burns or blistering.

She is one of the most successful models of all time and is also considered one of the most revealing in business: Kate Moss. The supermodel has already shown her seductive chocolate side more often at photo shoots. For the 60th birthday of the world’s most famous men’s magazine, sexy Kate should be on the cover next year.

sexy Kate Moss

Photo series with 15 pictures

As early as March of this year, there were the first hot rumors that the supermodel could be seen in a photo series and on the cover of the anniversary issue of Playboy in January 2014. Now her personal hairstylist Oribe has revealed that he perfectly staged the top model’s hair during the shoot, reports the celebrity website “Refinery29.com”. The shoot was allegedly already in March of this year by the photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. Both belong to the world’s top fashion photographers.

Premiere for Kate Moss

A Playboy cover would be a first for Kate. Open-hearted and sexy, she has often been seen on the covers of various fashion magazines, but never on Playboy. That the 39-year-old model likes to present herself lasciviously, she recently showed on the advertising posters of a French self-tanner brand:

The top model is lolling erotically in an extremely tight swimsuit by the pool and also presents her completely bare bottom. Kate was also photographed in sexy poses on an old Matchless bike for a fashion campaign for the oldest British motorcycle label. Incidentally, Kate Moss was discovered at JFK Airport in New York at the age of 14 and signed an advertising contract with the fashion label Calvin Klein that same year. In the 1990s, Kate, who was actually much too small for the catwalk, competed with other supermodels like Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford. Another milestone in the career of the 1.70 meter tall model was her picture in the 2006 Pirelli calendar.

The finance minister is planning some changes – some at the expense of workers. Certain services should no longer be tax-free.

Federal Finance Minister Olaf Scholz (SPD) is reportedly planning several changes to additional benefits for employees. The job ticket for local public transport should be promoted more strongly, reported the newspapers of the editorial network Germany.123helpme.me At the same time, so-called benefit-in-kind cards, with which employees can go shopping, are no longer to be tax-favored, as “Spiegel” reports.

What changes with the job ticket

With the job ticket, employees receive subsidies for monthly or annual tickets for local public transport. Since the beginning of the year, these benefits no longer have to be taxed, but they are offset against the commuter allowance.

According to the newspapers of the editorial network Germany, Scholz is now planning an alternative regulation, according to which the subsidies can be taxed at a flat rate of 25 percent. This is interesting, for example, for commuters who cannot do without a car entirely.

Benefits in kind cards should be treated like cash benefits

On the other hand, according to “Spiegel”, the tax relief for the benefit-in-kind cards is to fall. These are prepaid cards that employees can use to pay in many shops. Up to an amount of 44 euros per month, this employer’s service is tax-free.

According to “Spiegel”, the Ministry of Finance no longer sees the cards as a benefit in kind that can remain tax-free, but as a cash benefit. The background is a ruling by the Federal Fiscal Court. According to “Spiegel”, Bavaria and the Saarland oppose the planned end of the tax exemption. The middle class association of the CDU and CSU is against it.

In Dortmund, graffiti artists worked together with the city to remove paint smears from neo-Nazis in Emscherstrasse. The action was accompanied by a police presence.

In the Dorstfeld district of Dortmund, graffiti sprayers removed Nazi smearings on Emscherstrasse on Thursday morning. According to a statement, the city of Dortmund would like to use this campaign to send a signal against right-wing extremism and xenophobia and present itself as a “cosmopolitan, diverse and democratic city”.

The deployment was accompanied by strong police support. The Interior Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Herbert Reul (CDU), was also there. “You can’t give the neo-Nazis a millimeter of space. That’s why it’s a great thing that the citizens, the city and the police stand together against the racist agitators and remove their disgusting graffiti. That’s what I call zero tolerance for racism and agitation, “said the minister.

The Department of Law and Order of the City of Dortmund, Norbert Dahmen (CDU), also agreed: “The City of Dortmund is making it clear again today that the rule of law is not prepared to accept extremist graffiti in the cityscape.”

Emscherstrasse known as the Nazi Kiez

Emscherstrasse in Dortmund-Dorstfeld has been known as the “Nazi Kiez” for years. The right-wing extremists there, more precisely in the area of Emscherstrasse and Thusneldastrasse, “tried to mark their territory and create a threatening backdrop for their political and ideological opponents,” as the city announces.

In fact, the area in Dortmund-Dorstfeld is known throughout Germany as a stronghold and a retreat for the Nazi scene. With the action, the city of Dortmund apparently wants to polish away this image.

According to their own statements, the police also want to ensure that the walls are “sustainably protected” by increasing their presence in the district. Video surveillance is also planned in the area.

Donald Trump persistently refuses to admit his defeat to Joe Biden – at least publicly. The plans for the next election are already running in the background.

Donald Trump lost the election to Joe Biden. Even if he has not officially admitted this, Trump already seems to be preparing to run for the next US election in 2024.

This is indicated by an e-mail survey launched by the Trump team. Under the – false – headline that the “radical left” stole the election of President Trump, Trump supporters are asked: “Do you think that President Trump should run for president in 2024?”

\ n “, ‘Twitter’);}) (); / ** /

However, the email that has been circulating on social networks since Wednesday also poses a problem for Trump: According to the constitution, a US president can only serve two terms in office. So if Trump prepares for another candidacy in 2024, he will indirectly admit that he lost the 2020 election.

Wild accusations without any evidence

So far, however, Trump has strictly avoided admitting his defeat to Biden. He has lost almost 60 lawsuits against the election result, but keeps on topping it up. Most recently, he suspected – without presenting any evidence – the voting machines had pushed Biden two to three percent of the vote.

Trump was also not at all pleased that Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell ultimately congratulated Biden on his election victory. “It’s too early to give up,” tweeted Trump.

Ultimately, however, the choice is made. In the 50 US states and the capital district of Washington, the 538 electorate cast their votes for the future president on behalf of the people. As expected, Biden got the votes of 306 voters, 36 more than are necessary for victory. 232 electorates voted for Trump.

Taxes and social security contributions are bubbling up. For the fifth year in a row, the German state can earn more money than it spends. However, it seems questionable whether the money rain will continue.

Despite the economic slowdown, the German state achieved a record surplus last year. In 2018, the federal, state, local and social security funds earned 58 billion euros more than they spent, according to the Federal Statistical Office. In a first estimate, the authority had assumed 59.2 billion euros. In relation to economic output, the plus was 1.7 percent.

German tax authorities with record surplus

The tax authorities benefited from bubbling taxes and social contributions, also thanks to the historically good situation on the labor market. Germany posted a surplus for the fifth year in a row and is thus far from the deficit limit of the Maastricht Treaty. In this, the Europeans allow themselves a budget deficit of at most 3.0 percent of economic output. Germany last recorded a minus – albeit a minimal one – in 2013.

The relaxed monetary policy of the European Central Bank (ECB), which is particularly controversial in Germany, also provides relief. Because of the low interest rates, the state can borrow more cheaply.

Trade policy conflicts: economy flattening out

Because of the slowdown in the economy, however, the federal government is threatened with a 25 billion hole in the budget by 2023. The Ministry of Finance is expecting around five billion euros less tax revenue per year.

Europe’s largest economy slowed significantly in the second half of 2018. After the gross domestic product (GDP) had shrunk by 0.2 percent in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter, it stagnated at the end of the year, as the Wiesbaden authority confirmed.

Exports are suffering from trade storms and the global economic slowdown. In addition, in the second half of the year there were problems in the auto industry with the changeover to the new exhaust and consumption standard WLTP and low water due to the summer heat, which hindered the transport of a number of goods.

In 2018 as a whole, the German economy grew by 1.4 percent.
